We have done pre-production and post-production work for Flight of the Phoenix, xXx 2: State of the Union, NIKE, NFL Productions, Infinity, Bank of America, AT&T, Colgate, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and many other high profile projects.
Vital’s most recent motion picture work is showcased in Mission: Impossible 3, X-Men 3, Eragon, and Get Smart which is in production and will be released in 2008.
Vital Distraction was formed in 2000 by the President, Vice-President, and Tech Support Managers of Maxon, USA (www.maxon.net). Maxon publishes Cinema 4D and BodyPaint, both software tools used for 3D visuals.
By 2002, Vital Distraction had grown so large that it left the nest of Maxon. The President of Maxon resigned his position at Vital to stay at Maxon, but the other founding members, including the VP of Sales, resigned their positions at Maxon USA to devote full time efforts into Vital Distraction. Vital Distraction has doubled sales every year since leaving Maxon, and is the leading provider of motion picture previsualizations.
Vital Distraction maintains an office in Los Angeles where it houses a team of artists dedicated to motion picture and commercial work. All medical work is done from the Coeur d’Alene office and a staff of freelance artists stationed around the world.
Vital Disclosure (www.vitaldisclosure.com) is another subsidiary company of Vital Distraction, which produces training materials and conducts training seminars throughout the US.
